Universal Metal Spinning; Company History

Universal Metal Spinning, Inc. was started in 1976 by our founder Rudolf Blunck. Rudolf learned the metal spinning trade at a young age in Germany. He brought his knowledge of metal spinning and "old world" craftsmanship with him to the U.S.

Rudolf concentrated on providing parts that were not only within tolerance, but also had a great appearance and a smooth finish. His reputation for attention to detail quickly grew among some of the finest lighting companies, which depended on parts that looked good. His skills and determination were passed on to each of his metal spinners.

Today, Universal Metal Spinning, Inc. produces parts that are used in almost every industry.
